In my studio I wish to present copies of antique glass from all
over Europe.
The vase in the form of a slim flute was found in a house in the
old part of Prague. It is an artefact made in Bohemia in the second
half of the 14th century. The original measures 43 cm and is kept in
the Municipal Museum in Prague. The vases belong to the group of
glass artefacts produced in the forest glassworks of northern
Europe. The glass with its spiral pattern was probably made in the
southern Netherlands in the late 16th century, although it was found
in Scotland. The 20.5 cm high glass vase with an octagonal opening at
the top was made in the Netherlands in the late 16th century.
